About Movel

Movel is a boutique advisory for Nigerian students, professionals, and families planning a move to Canada. Meticulous migration is how we describe our approach: we sell judgment, strategy, and continuity, not paperwork.

Nigerian applicants are usually offered two choices: a cheap agent who may not be licensed and rarely plans beyond the application, or a large law firm that is priced out of reach. Movel sits between them. We help serious applicants choose the right pathway, prepare a strong application, and settle well once they arrive.

What we stand for

Truth

We tell you what your odds actually are, including when the answer is no. If a file is unlikely to succeed, we say so before you spend money on it.

Strategy

We do not just fill forms. We work out the right position for you: your profile, category, school, province, language plan, and timing.

Continuity

Most consultancies disappear once a visa is approved. We stay available after you land, with settlement support and a community of past clients.

Discretion

You get a named point of contact, a confidential intake, and a signed NDA where you want one. We never run mass-blast marketing.

What we offer

Academic migration

Eligibility assessment, school and program selection, application and personal statement coaching, credential evaluation, and financial planning for study in Canada. We focus first on master's and PhD applicants, and also support undergraduate and college applicants.

Economic migration

Strategy for skilled professionals using Express Entry and provincial nominee programs, including which priority category you realistically fit and how to build your profile around it. We also support entrepreneurs, spousal sponsorship, and high-net-worth family migration.

Each service is available at three levels, so you can choose the depth of support that fits your situation:

Emerald

Light-touch advisory for confident applicants with straightforward files.

Platinum

End-to-end support with a written Strategy Memo and founder oversight.

Diamond

A founder-led, concierge engagement for families and complex profiles, with extended post-arrival support.

How regulated work is handled

In Canada, only licensed professionals may file immigration applications or give paid advice on immigration law. Movel is currently an advisory firm and is not a licensed immigration consultancy.

You hire Movel for strategy, preparation, document curation, school selection, settlement, and continuity. Where your file needs to be submitted to IRCC, you sign a separate agreement directly with our partner Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), who is named as your representative. You pay that fee to the RCIC, not to us, and we tell you the cost up front.

You get one coordinated experience with two clear contracts. We do not promise outcomes, and no one can guarantee a visa.

Support after you arrive

Landing in Canada is the start of a longer process. We help newcomers with banking, moving money, tax, housing, and settlement by introducing them to vetted partners. Some tiers include post-arrival support, and it is available as an add-on for the others.

We earn referral fees from some of our partners and disclose which ones during onboarding. We only refer clients to partners we would use ourselves.
